– Granddaughter of Virgie Nalls, a 97 year old, petite woman who survived in the deep South making $18.75/week (Thank you, Grandma, for raising a wonderful son!)

– Daughter of a minister and his wife (Lord knows it was hard growing up as a preacher’s kid.)

– Sister of my best friend, Rachel Nall, who understands me better than anyone else (Love ya, girl!)

– Niece of wonderful aunts and uncles who love me despite the fact that I’ve missed the past 10 family reunions

– Cousin of about 300 family members who call me “Tami” and who tolerate my taking 10 minutes to spell one 3 letter word during games of Scrabble (oh well, the word was worth almost 30 points!)

– Future aunt of a little nephew (I am excited about raising a young man in today’s society.)
