If you haven’t jumped on the Foursquare bandwagon, it’s not too late to start! Foursquare leverages geolocation capabilities and describes itself as “a service that mixes social, locative and gaming elements to encourage people to explore the cities in which they live.” With mobile apps available on the iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android, we can tell you it can get addictive. It ends up being a cool way to discover new places from your friends, find out where your friends are, get deals from venues you check into, and feel a little special when you’re awarded with badges for random things. And, with latest announcements on its valuation of 10s of millions of dollars and partnership with Bravo, it may be around for a while (well, at least in online years).
Today we’ve opened our own Foursquare account under the user name KeeshaandKailei. So come “friend” us on Foursquare to see what “Vyne-worthy” venues we check into whether in our cities, Philadelphia or New York, or any place we travel!
